Warranty and After-Sales Support for Evolve electric skateboards
Warranty for Evolve electric skateboards
Warranty period: 2 years, covering batteries, parts, and labor. Within this framework, Evolve covers the cost of parts replacement as well as labor. The warranty only covers defects related to a manufacturing issue, and does not cover misuse.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of problems not covered by the warranty:
- Broken drive belt: This is a consumable part, to be changed regularly.
- Wear on wheels or tires: These are consumable parts, to be changed regularly.
- Broken deck: A jump that's a bit too high, a rider who's a bit too heavy, a bad landing and snap... the deck is broken. This is considered extreme use and is not covered by warranty: decks are tested to be very resistant, but not unbreakable.
- Broken remote control: A fall, the remote control thrown against the ground, the plastic casing broken... Even if this can happen, it is not covered by the warranty.
- Decrease in battery range: If you use your skate daily, charging it once or twice a day, it is normal for the range to decrease with the number of charge/discharge cycles: you should then consider replacing the battery. However, if the range drops by more than 30%, we will consider partial coverage under warranty.
