This range is based on its Samsung 48X 21700 cell battery (345 Wh, 9.6 Ah, 36 V), which weighs only 2 kg and is discreetly integrated under the saddle. Actual distance varies depending on the assist level, rider weight, terrain, and riding style: pedal assist conserves the battery and maximizes range, while throttle-only use significantly reduces it.

The Project BMX battery, with Samsung 48X 21700 cells (345 Wh, 9.6 Ah, 36 V), recharges in approximately 3 hours with the included charger, from 0 to 100%. A partial charge is naturally faster. The battery is removable and features an integrated locking point under the saddle, allowing it to be removed for indoor charging and secured. To preserve its longevity, it is advisable to avoid leaving it fully discharged for extended periods or stored at full charge.

The BAFANG Mid Drive M560 (500 W, 36 V, Gear Drive) mid-drive motor of the Project BMX is mounted at the crankset rather than in a wheel. This central positioning improves weight distribution and handling, and eliminates rotational mass on the rear wheel, making the bike more agile and balanced. Directly connected to the crankset, it is also quieter and optimizes energy efficiency to extend range. The motor, pre-configured with Evolve settings, weighs 3.3 kg.

The Project BMX offers 5 levels of pedal assist, adjustable to switch from smooth, economical riding to a more dynamic response on climbs or technical terrain. It also features an integrated throttle, which provides direct power control without pedaling, useful on tracks. A waterproof LED control screen displays battery level (5 levels), speed in km/h or mph, selected mode (1 to 5), LED lighting status, and error diagnostics.

Yes. The Project BMX comes largely pre-assembled: upon receipt, simply attach the handlebars, seat, pedals, and front wheel, then make a few basic adjustments (tightening, disc brakes, tires pressure, handlebar orientation). All necessary tools are included in the box. No special skills are required, and our technical service based in France will assist you if needed for a smooth setup.
