CNC machined from aluminum, it ensures a rigid and precise connection, transmitting every impulse without energy loss. What is the Base Plate for?
The Base Plate is the truck base, the part screwed directly onto the deck. It houses the kingpin, bushings, and hanger. A damaged base plate affects the stability and precision of the ride.
How do you know if your Base Plate needs replacing?
Inspect it after an impact. Signs to look for: visible deformation, abnormal play in the truck, excessive thread wear. Preventive replacement is recommended if cracks are visible.
Which variant should you choose?
Select the variant corresponding to your model. GTR and Hadean share the same base plate. The Diablo SuperCarve 2 (also compatible with Fusion and Stoke X) is available in Black or Silver. The Renegade has its own version.
Is the Base Plate compatible with the GTR1?
No, this Base Plate is designed for GTR Series 2 and Hadean. For a GTR1, check the generation of your trucks before ordering.
Should you replace the bushings at the same time?
It's the ideal opportunity. If you disassemble the truck, simultaneously replacing worn bushings extends the lifespan of the entire assembly.
Is the Base Plate sold with screws?
No, it is sold individually (1 piece). Mounting screws are reusable if in good condition, or available in our hardware selection.
