How do I know if my motor plate needs replacing?

A damaged motor plate usually shows visible signs. Look for cracks, deformation after an impact, or difficulty aligning the motor. If your motor vibrates abnormally or you notice play in the mounting, it's time to check the plate's condition.

Can I replace the motor plate myself?

Yes, you can replace it yourself with basic tools. You'll need a 1/8-inch Allen key, which comes with your board. Just remove the mounting screws, swap out the plate, and reinstall the motor by following the steps in reverse. Always check for proper tightening before you ride.

Are the plates sold individually or in pairs?

Motor plates are sold individually. If you need to replace both sides, order two plates of the same size that match your motors. Choose 1500W, 3000W, or 3500W depending on your Evolve electric skateboard model.

What's the difference between 1500W, 3000W, and 3500W plates?

The plates differ in their dimensions and mounting points, each adapted to a specific motor size. The 3500W plate is for larger Diablo motors, the 3000W for Hadean and GTR2 motors, and the 1500W for classic GT, GTX, and Stoke models.

Is the plate covered by warranty?

Replacement motor plates are covered by the standard Evolve parts warranty against manufacturing defects. However, damage caused by impacts, intensive use, or improper installation is not covered.

How do I choose the right plate size for my board?

Refer to the compatibility section above to identify your model. Diablo uses 3500W plates, Hadean, GTR2, Stoke X, and Fusion use 3000W plates, and GT, GTX, GTR1, and Stoke use 1500W plates. If you're unsure, check the power indicated on your motors.
