Hadean Carbon

Is this grip compatible with all Hadean versions?
Yes, the Hadean grip tape is compatible with all variations of the Hadean model: Street, All-Terrain, Carbon, and Bamboo. The only distinction concerns the visual design: choose Carbon for a Hadean Carbon, or Bamboo for a Hadean Bamboo. The dimensions are identical regardless of the setup (Street or AT), as it's the same deck. Note that this grip is not compatible with other Evolve models (GTR, GTX, Diablo, Renegade).
Why does the Hadean grip wear out faster in AT setup?
In an All-Terrain setup, your Hadean is subjected to more demanding conditions: increased vibrations, dust and abrasive particles, and more dynamic movements on varied terrains. These factors contribute to slightly faster grip wear. To maximize its lifespan in AT, regularly clean your grip with a Grip Cleaner after off-road sessions and inspect it for premature wear.
Does the Hadean grip differ from older Evolve models?
Yes, the Hadean deck features specific dimensions and contours different from previous generations (GT, GTX, GTR). The Hadean grip cut is adapted to its characteristic shape with rounded corners and a profile optimized for comfort. You cannot use a GTR grip on a Hadean and vice-versa. Each Evolve model requires its dedicated grip for a perfect fit.
How to avoid air bubbles during installation?
For bubble-free installation, follow these tips: perfectly clean the deck with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Start by applying one edge of the grip, then slowly progress by pressing from the center towards the edges with a squeegee or a rigid card. If a bubble appears, gently lift the grip and reapply. For small, persistent bubbles, pierce them with a fine needle and then flatten them.
Can I use my Hadean immediately after replacement?
We recommend waiting 12 to 24 hours before riding to allow for optimal adhesive bonding. During this time, leave the board flat in a dry place at room temperature. If you absolutely must use your Hadean sooner, avoid abrupt maneuvers and intensive braking during the first few hours to prevent the edges of the new grip from peeling off.
