How do I know if my battery needs to be replaced?
Signs of an end-of-life battery include: range reduced by more than 30% compared to original, abnormally long or short charging time, the board turning off while the indicator still shows charge, or the battery not holding a charge after a few hours.
Can I upgrade my battery to a higher capacity?
No, each model is designed for a specific battery. The casing dimensions and Battery Management System (BMS) are calibrated for each configuration. Only use the battery intended for your exact model. The exception is the Onirique 6Ah, compatible with Stoke 2 and GTR2 Bamboo.
What is the Onirique 6Ah battery?
The Onirique battery is a versatile option compatible with the Stoke 2 (providing a 33% range increase vs. the original 4Ah) and the GTR2 Bamboo (approximately 40% of the 14Ah battery's range). It's an ideal solution for a backup battery or for traveling light.
How can I extend my battery's lifespan?
Store the battery at room temperature (15-25 °C) and maintain it around 80% charge for long-term storage. Perform small discharge/recharge cycles occasionally to keep the cells active. After a full discharge, recharge the battery promptly to avoid cell damage.
Are replacement batteries covered by warranty?
Yes, batteries purchased from the official Evolve store are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear related to charge cycles, nor damage caused by improper use or storage.
