DIABLO BAMBOO EDPM
The Diablo Bamboo EDPM is your road-legal electric skateboard, fully compliant with the EDPM decree for Motorized Personal Mobility Devices. This electric skateboard delivers an optimal riding experience with performance on par with the unrestricted model.
While the maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h, every other tech spec remains unchanged. You still get the same impressive range, power, and regenerative braking system for a smooth, enjoyable ride.
To meet EDPM decree compliance, here’s how the Diablo Bamboo EDPM differs from the sport version electric skateboard:
Lights
Front and rear lights are now installed, in addition to the lights already on the Diablo Bamboo.
Audible Warning Device
A finger bell is included and mandatory to wear.
Speed Limit
The speed is limited to 25 km/h, in line with current legislation.
Reflectors
Retro-reflective devices are installed on the sides of the skateboard.
Minimum Age: 14 years old
You must be at least 14 years old to ride, in accordance with EDPM regulations.
Night Visibility
Retro-reflective clothing or equipment is mandatory at night. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
Permitted
- Prioritize cycle paths and cycle lanes.
- Ride on roads limited to a maximum of 50 km/h in urban areas.
- Utilize greenways and bike paths outside urban areas.
- Always respect the Highway Code, including lights, priorities, and all applicable rules.
Forbidden
- Riding on sidewalks (unless locally authorized).
- Carrying passengers (this is strictly for individual use).
- Using headphones or sound devices while riding.
- Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Civil Liability Insurance is mandatory for EDPM users, covering any damages you might cause to third parties.
