What is the difference between a new and a reconditioned battery?
A reconditioned battery uses a used casing whose internal cells have been replaced with new Samsung 50S cells. The electronics (BMS) are tested and kept if functional. This way, you benefit from performance equivalent to a new battery at a lower cost.
What range can I expect from a reconditioned battery?
With 20Ah Samsung 50S cells, you can expect a range of 40 to 60 km depending on your weight, the terrain, and your riding style. This is comparable to the range of an original new Hadean battery of 16Ah, or even superior thanks to the increased capacity.
