The Evolve Renegade is the ultimate choice for all-terrain enthusiasts looking for a mountainboard-style electric skateboard. With a top speed of 42 km/h (for v1) and a range of 50 km, this robust and powerful skateboard is perfect for off-road but also very enjoyable in the city. Its carbon fiber deck, new Renegade Forged trucks, and binding options ensure optimal control.
Performance and Feel of the Evolve Renegade Mountainboard
The Renegade Electric Skateboard is a real rocket with bindings. For surfers and former street riders like me, this board offers unique sensations, reminiscent of both surfing and street skating.
Speed and Stability
It easily reaches 39 to 40 km/h, which is more than enough for an electric mountainboard. I should mention that I have the Renegade v1, and given the specs of the new one, the Renegade Diablo, it promises to go even faster... This board is stable, but for rougher terrains, harder bushings are recommended to maintain good stability at high speeds.
Versatility
Whether on asphalt, country roads, or in the forest, the Renegade adapts perfectly to different types of surfaces.
Compactness and Lightness
I chose the Renegade because after looking at most mountainboards, it seemed to be the most compact and lightweight, and especially without having the battery between my feet.
