A polished presentation
Right out of the box, you can tell Evolve cares about its product. The GTR2 Bamboo comes with a rigid carrying case, a 4A fast charger, the new CNC aluminum Phaze Remote, a multi-tool, cables, stickers, and even some spare parts.
The bamboo and fiberglass deck catches the eye: concave, flexible, designed for carving. The Super Carve double kingpin trucks are massive, a sign of true precision in turns. This is clearly a high-end electric longboard.
6,000 W of power
The GTR2 is equipped with two 6368 brushless motors of 3,000 W each, totaling 6,000 W of power. The Power Flex lithium-ion 14 Ah / 504 Wh battery provides a range of 50 km (street) and 30 km (all-terrain).
- Weight: 11.5 kg (street) / 12 kg (AT)
- 4 modes: Eco, Sport, GTR, and Custom
- Non-removable battery, 4A fast charge
- Super Carve double kingpin trucks
A true electric mountainboard
With 7-inch tires, the GTR2 becomes a true electric mountainboard. Grass, dirt trails, gravel, uneven areas: the stability remains impressive. The double kingpin trucks provide surprising maneuverability even on irregular terrain.
You can maintain control while chaining wide curves, performing some slides, and tackling climbs without losing power.
Surfing the asphalt
In street configuration with 97 mm wheels, the GTR2 completely changes character. The top speed climbs to 43 km/h and acceleration is livelier. The flex of the bamboo deck absorbs vibrations. A fluid, comfortable, and ultra-playful ride.
Carving is the big highlight: turns are fluid, and acceleration out of turns is natural. You get a sensation close to surfing or snowboarding. Few electric skateboards combine these two worlds so well.
50 km in street mode
In Tech Hat's tests: almost 50 km in street mode at a moderate pace and about 30 km off-road. The figures announced by Evolve are realistic. Even at low battery, performance remains constant.
Charge time: about 4 to 5 hours. Consistent for a battery of this capacity.
Phaze Remote: a true success
The new Phaze Remote is robust, intuitive, and comfortable in hand. Two progressive triggers (acceleration / braking), an LCD screen displaying speed, range, distance, and temperature.
The Evolve application completes the experience: personalized settings, ride tracking, statistics, and Prism LED management.

GTR2 vs GTR1: a real evolution on all fronts
A major evolution
The biggest new feature: the motors go from 1,500 W (GTR1) to 3,000 W each on the GTR2, for a combined 6,000 W of power. The ESC has also been redesigned: better thermal management, progressive braking, more stability.
Where the GTR1 quickly overheated, the GTR2 handles several hours of riding without issue. The motors are quiet, powerful, and progressive.
An electric mountainboard on the weekend, an urban longboard during the week.
The GTR2 goes everywhere
In AT, the GTR2 goes everywhere: grass, paths, gravel. Unlike the GTR1, it doesn't overheat even after several hours. When carving on irregular terrain, the skateboard remains playful and precise.
Real range: about 30 km off-road and more on urban rides. Even at low battery, power remains constant.
43 km/h in the city
In street configuration with 97 mm wheels, speed climbs to 43 to 44 km/h. Acceleration is lively but progressive. In the city, carving is fluid and impressive. You really feel like you're surfing the asphalt.
Phaze Remote: a leap forward
The new Phaze Remote is a big improvement over the GTR1. Full screen (speed, range, temperature, distance), customizable settings: acceleration, braking, Dead Man Switch, Prism LEDs.
The Evolve application completes the experience with diagnostics, ride tracking, and firmware updates.

Esk8Unity Conclusion
The GTR2 Bamboo corrects all the weaknesses of the GTR1. Where the old one quickly overheated and braked abruptly, the GTR2 is fluid, powerful, and reliable. The ultimate versatile eskate.
